That’s why we always have 3-5 rotating single origins that keep it exciting for all palates and coffee lovers. We’re slightly biased towards the clean and balanced flavours of washed processes. However, you’ll also find naturals and ferment-forward profiles from time to time.


Black coffee is our core, but we also love blends for milk styles and decaf

Coffee should be enjoyed by everyone; there’s not a right or wrong way to drink it. That’s why we take all brewing styles just as seriously, sourcing only the highest quality coffee lots and sharing their transparency info with the same level of care and detail.

Where do you roast your coffee beans?

All our coffee is roasted in our own roastery in St Peters, Sydney, Australia.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes! We deliver freshly roasted coffee beans anywhere in Australia, with fast dispatch and eco-friendly packaging.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship beans to select international countries.

Can I buy pre-ground coffee?

Yes. You’ll see our pre-ground options during checkout.

We offer pre-ground options for different methods:
- Ground for domestic espresso (home espresso machine)
- Ground for stovetop (Bialetti)
- Ground for AeroPress / Kalita / Cold Brew / Moccamaster / Plunger / French Press (immersion style)
- Ground for V60/Chemex (pour over style)

How is your coffee ethically sourced?

We source our coffee from small producers through responsible importing companies. 95% of our green coffee beans are supplied by Caravela Coffee, Cafe Imports, and Melbourne Coffee Merchants (certified B Corporations) plus Condesa Co Lab and more.

We transparently share all the information about each coffee lot (territory of origin, producer, variety, processing method, importer, quality grade) on each coffee page. This includes blend components for our espresso blends.

We take quality sourcing very seriously, so being fully transparent about our coffee is a way to honour everyone’s efforts along the production and gain the trust of ethical-minded consumers.

Do you roast dark or light?

We roast our single origins using omni medium/light profiles. (This means you can use it for pour over and espresso brewing, no need to buy different bean bags with specific roast styles.)

We roast our espresso blends using darker profiles.

How much arabica and robusta are there in your blends?

We don’t source robusta.

All our coffees feature Coffea Arabica, including our single origins, blends, and decaf options. We share all the transparency and sourcing information on each coffee page. Each blend has its component breakdown and sourcing information linked on its page, making it easy to know exactly what coffee you’re drinking every time.

Is your coffee specialty grade?

Yes! Though we also refer to it as high-quality coffee.

What is “specialty coffee”?

The definitions and references to specialty coffee are changing.

Historically, and as most people think of it these days, specialty coffee is Arabica beans that score over 80 in the old Specialty Coffee Association point scale. Today, the SCA refers to specialty coffee as “a coffee or coffee experience that is recognized for its distinctive attributes, resulting in a higher value within the marketplace.”

What’s the best coffee for a plunger/French press?

We usually recommend our single-origins, as plunger is closer to a filter drinking style. Though, if you drink it with milk, you should try it also with our blends.

What brewing method do you recommend for single origins?

Depends on what you like to drink. Espresso is great if you like punchy, full body coffee drinks. Pour over methods like V60, or immersion like AeroPress and plunger, are a simple and cheap option to start making great coffee at home, at work or camping.

What’s the best coffee for espresso?

If you drink it black, we recommend our single origins. They’re roasted lighter, so the flavour nuances and notes pop up more strongly. If you drink it with milk, we recommend any of our blends. They’re roasted darker, with espresso brewing in mind. The flavour profile is richer, and the body more present. Paired with milk, they’re soft and silky.

Can I subscribe?

Absolutely. Our coffee subscription lets you get your favourite beans (for filter and espresso, black or milk drinks) delivered regularly for free and with no lock-in periods.

Can I buy these beans in your coffee shops?

Yes! You can either walk into our St Peters or Surry Hills cafes and grab what’s available on the shelves. Or buy online and select free pickup from either of those stores.
