Released in 1985, Ruiru 11 is a disease resistant varietal developed in Kenya

Named after the Ruiru station, it was designed to be disease resistant, although it cup quality is lesser than that of SL 28 and SL 34. It has the added benefit of coming to maturity sooner and earlier in the season
