The region is named after it’s capital city, Cajamarca. Comprises the northern area of Peru and the Peruvian Andes

Altitude: 900–2050 m above sea level

Varietals: Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, Pache, Mondo Novo, Catuai, Catimor


This comprises the main growing region of Peru, and makes up half of the country’s coffee exports.
